Clarendon School Bench...
The Children at Clarendon Primary School in Bolton worked with an artist from Cool Canvas to design a piece of practical public art that would enhance their school play area, within the bench are time pods that contain drawings,poems and letters that reflect the children's' life and experiences at their school.
The bench was fabricated by blacksmiths working in conjunction with Cool Canvas. I was proud to be involved in the process and unveil the bench. The bench depicted not only what the children thought of their school at present but what they aspired to be when they grew up.
